Telefonapparat in Australien anschließen

Hallo liebe Forums-Besucher,

ich ziehe im Oktober nach Sydney und wollte wissen, ob es Sinn macht, meinen Telefonapparat mit in den Container zu laden.

Kann man das Telefon dort anschließen? Mir ist klar, dass die Telefonbuchsen dort anders aussehen und ich ein anderes Kabel erwerben muss, aber anschließend müsste ich doch mit dem Phillips-Gerät telefonieren können, oder?

Würde mich über Erfahrungen von euch freuen!

Die meisten importierten Geräte funktionieren, aber legal ist keins wenn es nicht von ACMA annerkannt ist.

Ich werde mir ein VoIP fähiges Gerät von Siemens kaufen, welches Du an einen Breitband Router anschließen kannst und nicht an die analoge Telefonleitung muss. Vorteil ich bin unter einem deutschen Rufnummer erreichbar und ich schließe das Gerät nicht an ein Telefonnetz an...

Bedeutet dass dann nicht dass Deine australischen Freunde bei einem vermuteten local call die relativ teuren Auslandgespräche nach Deutschland bezahlen? Die werden sich dann freuen, oder?

oder dass ich mir in Australien ebenfalls einen VoIP Abieter suche und eine zweite Rufnummer ins Telefon eintrage (Gigaset IP Telefone können bis zu sechs SIP Accounts)...
