Right now I am preparing my Vetassess Skill Assessment for ENS purpose and have one general question.
I am a Mechanical Engineer (Dipl. Ing. Maschinenbau) with an academic degree (MSc/BSc) from a German university and I am working for more then 14 years in different roles of quality management and now like to get these experience assessed by Vetassess acc. to ASCO code 2294-15 (Quality Assurance Manager).
In the Vetassess guidelines and FAQ's I have read that it is required to have a post-secondary education to apply for the a.m. skill-assessment.
Now I am wondering if this post-secondary education as a Mechanical Engineer must be previously assessed by Engineering Australia before I can apply a skill-assessment at Vetassess or if it is sufficient when I submit, along with all other required information, a certified copy of my German Engineering degree together with a certified translation from this degree.
