    die typische Tour ist halt ne typische geführte Tour ...sie diente zur Veranschaulischung, wie Du schon schrobst, ihr habt 35 Tage draus gemacht, daran sollte man sich orientieren wenn man zum ersten mal in der Ecke unterwegs ist. Mit 30 Tagen wirds da arg eng :)

    Wassertemperaturen sind halt subjektiv...dem einen liegen 18° C ...dem anderen erst 28° C
    An der Westküste zu der Jahreszeit, sind die Wassertemperaturen in etwa gleich von Nord/Ostseesten ....also nix mit Karibik Feeling... :D
    Je höher man gen Norden kommt desto angenhemer sind se ... in Monkey Mia zb. ist schockfrosten angesagt im Juli ... :D

    Das folgende ist ne typische Tour von Perth nach Darwin.

    Day 1 Pinnacles Desert & Horrocks

    Leaving Perth we enter Nambung National Park to explore the Pinnacles Desert - a unique landscape unlike any other in the country. We then journey to the massive sand dunes of Jurien Bay where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a sandboard down the slopes and perfect your technique. From here we continue on through Geraldton to Horrocks where we stay overnight. (LD)

    Day 2 Kalbarri National Park & Shell Beach

    Today we take the short drive to Kalbarri National Park where we explore some of the park’s diverse scenery like Murchison Gorge, Natures Window, the Loop and Z-Bend Gorge (a steep descent but worth the effort for a refreshing swim). There is also the option to abseil here for those looking for even more adventure (own expense). After lunch we visit the beautiful Shell Beach - one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from shells, before getting back on the road towards Denham and Shark Bay. (BLD)

    Day 3 Monkey Mia & Shark Bay

    After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and pay a visit to the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins – sure to become your new best friends. The next stop is Carnarvon where we see the fascinating stromatolites at Hamelin Pool. After a short break we continue along the highway to Coral Bay, the ‘Jewel of the Northwest’. (BLD)

    Days 4-5 Coral Bay & Exmouth

    Take a day to relax and explore Coral Bay – which is just as relaxing as the name suggests. We’ll also take a visit to the Ningaloo Reef the amazing marine life that lives below the waterline. Take a snorkel or cruise on a glass bottom boat to see for yourself. If staying on land is more your thing then take a quad bike tour or see the reef from another perspective with a joy flight over the reef. (All at own expense and subject to availability). When late afternoon comes around it’s time for the short drive into Exmouth where our fabulous private camp site on Yardi Creek Station is the envy of other tour groups, In the evening, kick back in our own bar and watch the sunset as kangaroos hop about the grounds. The next day is free to go snorkelling (equipment provided) or diving, search for whale sharks (seasonal and at own expense) or view Vlamingh Head Lighthouse then choose to laze on the pristine beach at Turquoise Bay and soak up the sunshine.     Days 6-8 Karijini National Park

    We head inland past many Aussie cattle stations to reach the outback oasis of Karijini National Park. This afternoon we will pass through Tom Price, a little town known for its iron ore mining, before reaching our camp overlooking the magnificent Hamersley Range. Two full days of adventure is just the perfect amount of time needed to explore Karijini National Park and its amazing gorges. Formed over 2,500 million years ago, the Hamersley Ranges are some of the most unusual landforms on earth. You’ll be able to take some great photos while you’re here – perfect for your Facebook and Instagram feeds. Deep in the gorges you’ll come across cascading waterfalls and fresh, still waterholes that are ideal for swimming. Dales Gorge, Fortesque Falls, Fern Pool, Circular Pool, Weano Gorge and Hancock Gorge are just some of the unforgettable areas we’ll visit. Definitely a highlight! (LD/BLD/BLD)

    Day 9 The Pilbara

    Say your sad farewells to Karijini this morning as we travel towards the coast and the iron ore town of Port Hedland. We have time for a quick town tour and to marvel at the incredible size of the iron ore industry. After lunch we continue on towards the Pilbra region, where we spend the night together on an overnight station stay. (BLD)

    Day 10 Eighty Mile Beach & Broome

    En-route to Broome we enjoy a leisurely break and take in the glory of the stretching sands of picturesque 80 Mile Beach, one of Australia’s most remarkable hidden gems. Enjoy a stroll along the white sandy beach and get some fantastic photos of the azure water, before our final leg into Broome (BL)

    Days 11-12 Broome

    We have 2 free days here in Broome, so you can sit back and relax on the beautiful Cable Beach. With 22 km of white sand and crystal waters it’s the ideal place to watch the sunset. There are also plenty of things to see and do around town. Take a 1/2 Day Broome Sights Adventure to discover the heritage and culture of this unique outback town or head up the Dampier Peninsula on a 1 Day Cape Leveque Adventure (Meals and activities on these days are at own expense).

    Day 13 Fitzroy River & Tunnel Creek

    Departing Broome we make our first stop at Willare Bridge at the Fitzroy River (seasonal). From here we hit the outback and leave the open road behind as we head for the Oscar Range and on to Tunnel Creek, where a 750m tunnel passes under the Napier Range. Our local Bunuba guide will take us through this remarkable tunnel, sharing the cultural hertage of the area and the story of the Bunuba warrior hero, Jandamarra! (LD)

    Day 14 Windjana Gorge & Mt Barnett

    Today we explore Windjana Gorge where there are plenty of freshwater crocodiles – so have your camera handy! We then hit the road again to travel along the famous Gibb River Road, a 600km dirt track that runs right in the heart of the Kimberley region. Depending on the time of year, we may be able to explore Galvins, Adcock or Manning Gorge before setting up camp at Mt Barnett. (BLD)

    Day 15 Gibb River Road and Gorges

    We pass through some historic and unusual country as we travel along the Gibb River Road giving you another taste of remote Australia. Crossing the Pentecost River, we get a true outback experience as we reach the famous El Questro Station where we camp for the night. (BLD)

    Day 16 El Questro Station

    Spend the day exploring the amazing sights of El Questro Station highlights include a hike in the beautiful Cockburn Ranges for a swim under the waterfall at Emma Gorge. Tonight we enjoy another night at our El Questro campsite where you might choose to enjoy a well earned beer at the station bar. (BLD)

    Days 17-18 Purnululu National Park: Bungle Bungles

    Sit back and admire the awesome scenery of the Carr Boyd and Durack Ranges as we head to Turkey Creek. We take a challenging 4WD trip into the picture-perfect Bungle Bungles (Purnululu National Park) just in time to catch the sunset over the Osmond Ranges and settle into our overnight bush camp. Get ready for a full day of adventure on day 18! The rock formations of the Bungle Bungles are remarkable and we visit the breathtaking Echidna Chasm and Cathedral Gorge. There’s time to get another perspective of the Bungles by helicopter if you’re up for it (at own expense) to see the rocks from the air before we head back to our overnight bush camp. (BLD/BLD)

    Day 19 Kununurra

    It’s time for some serious 4WD action as we wind our way out of the Bungle Bungles towards Kununurra. Time permitting we will have the opportunity to explore Hidden Valley, just a stone’s throw from Kununurra township before making camp at Lake Argyle. (BLD)

    Day 20 Lake Argyle & Victoria River Region

    Today we visit Lake Argyle, created by the Ord River Dam. Lake Argyle is the biggest manmade lake in Australia and is 18 times bigger than Sydney Harbour! From here we cross the state border into the Northern Territory to reach camp in the Katherine Region. (BLD)

    Day 21 Katherine & Darwin

    We’re on the home stretch now! Today we stop at either Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge or take one last swim at Edith Falls. We then make our final journey into Darwin where we bid each other farewell. (BL)

    Manchmal ist weniger mehr.
    Schaut euch einfach mal an was Ihr unbedingt sehen wollt auf der Tour, rechnet euch die zu fahren km pro Tag aus ...geht in euch und überlegt ob es das ist was Ihr wollt.
    Letztendlich entscheidet Ihr allein.
    Mit den Infos die Du hast, dürftest Du schon ein ganzes Stück weiter kommen. :)
    Wenn nicht, einfach weiter fleissig fragen :)

    Yepp, so Touren werden angeboten, ich geh jetzt einfach mal von Broome aus … wenn ihr dort solch eine Tour macht egal ob jetzt 1,2 oder 3 Tage macht, die Tage fehlen euch auf dem Weg nach Darwin, zudem fahrt Ihr die gleiche Strecke nach Ende der Tour erneut.
    Dazu kommt das Ihr eine Unterkunft braucht, wenn es länger als 1 Tag geht, euer Gepäck könnt Ihr auch nicht komplett mitnehmen.

    Edith: Das mit der Unterkunft ist natürlich Quatsch, wenn Ihr mit nem Camper von Perth nach Broome gefahren seit. Sorry

    Genau, "wo die überall hinfahren"... ich denke nicht das man das alles auf eigene Faust in der "kurzen" Zeit auf die Kette bekommt.

    @Delfine, "mal ne geführte Tour vor Ort"... wie stellst Du Dir das vor?
    Also in den Kimberley's gibt es kein Büdchen wo ein Tourguide sitzt und drauf wartet Individualreisende zu nem Pool o.ä. zu führen :D

    Okay, am Flugplatz schon wo die Heliflüge gehen sitzt schon einer in nem Container.

    Mit Walhaien bin ich noch nicht getaucht oder geschnorchelt, aber eigentlich gilt das gleiche wie bei allem anderen was man unter Wasser so antrifft.
    Ordentlichen Sicherheitsabstand einhalten!
    Naja und bei der Größe sollte man auch auf die Schwanzflosse achten.
    Was für Taucher gilt, sollte auch für Schnorchler gelten, sag ich mal so.
