Palm Valley access
A contractor has completed an opening grade on the access in to Palm Valley from Hermannsburg. This serves to define the track down the river. It is still very soft and sandy in some locations and this is not likely to change in the foreseeable future. Parks and Wildlife were keen to ensure that the reserve was open by Easter so that visitors can get the benefit of seeing Palm Valley at its best and the Department of Construction and Infrastructure have been very helpful in facilitating this.
I would suggest that operators assess the track suitability for their respective vehicles and driver experience.
I would like to thank all operators for their patience in waiting for track repairs to be carried out.
