Nine additional skilled occupations were added to the MODL and one skilled occupation was removed from the MODL.
The occupations added were:
Architect
Computing Professional - specialising in Sybase SQL Server
External Auditor
Quantity Surveyor
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics)
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Locksmith
Optical Mechanic
Painter and Decorator
The occupation removed was:
General Electronic Instrument - Tradesperson
General Skilled Migration visa applicants who lodged their applications before 30 July 2007 and nominated General Electronic Instrument - Tradesperson will still be eligible for the award of MODL points.
