Hallo Anne,

Du hast wohl gemeint Du waerst schon in Perth? Wir haben naemlich die Uhren eine Stunde vorgestellt. Der Zeitunterschied zwischen WA und Deutschland ist jetzt 8 Stunden.

Hallo Bernd, es hat sich ausgemunkelt. Hier ein Auszug aus der Antwort aus dem Büro des Premiers auf meine Frage vom August 2007:

With regards to your views on daylight saving, on 20 April 2007
ACNielsen was commissioned to conduct research on attitudes on daylight
saving in Queensland. The research found 59% of all those surveyed
support the introduction of daylight saving across Queensland.

The survey, however, also showed there is strong opposition to daylight
saving in regional Queensland, with 52% of residents opposed to its
introduction across the State.

Further, the research found strong opposition to the introduction of a
split time zone in Queensland, with 63% of those surveyed in regional
and rural Queensland and 45 % of those surveyed in South East Queensland
(SEQ) being opposed.

While residents of SEQ are overwhelmingly supportive of the introduction
of daylight saving, the same residents have indicated they do not
support the introduction of split time zones.

The Government is not prepared to split the State, either by imposing
daylight saving on the regions, which clearly do not want it, or by
creating two time zones within the State.

The Premier grew up on the Gold Coast and can see the benefits of
daylight saving on lifestyle and business in SEQ. However, the reality
is that it is deeply unpopular in the rest of the State and has a large
negative impact on regional Queenslanders' lives.

When Anna Bligh became Premier she made it clear that she would listen
to the regions and govern for all of Queensland.

Also mit anderen Worten, die Handvoll Bauern im Rural Queensland hat bestimmt, dass es den Kühen und Vorhängen besser geht, wenn es keine Zeitverschiebung gibt. Und man kann die Kinder besser zu Bett kriegen.

also ich kam mit der Zeitumstellung am Sonntag gar nicht klar: In Adelaide haben wir nachts die Uhren eine Stunde vorgestellt, ich war natuerlich morgens entsprechend muede, musste aber aufstehen, da unser Flug um halb 12 nach Perth ging. Und in Perth haben wir dann wieder die Uhren vorgestellt. Das war vielleicht ein Durcheinander im Hotel, als wir im Handy die Zeit aus Sydney, auf unseren Armbanduhren die Zeit aus Adelaide und im Hotelwecker die Zeit aus Perth hatten, wobei wir da nicht sicher waren, ob der nun nach Sommerzeit schon umgestellt war, oder nicht.

versuchen, zumindestens ein Referendum zu erreichen.
