This Sponsor is a highly successful South Australian based company supplying packaging
solutions to some of the most recognised brands in world. Their trading company, supplies
complete packaging solutions to customers that include McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks and
KFC. With a national and international presence, they continue to expand through an
aggressive and innovative business development program.
Technology is an increasingly critical support function as they continually strive to meet and
exceed their customer’s needs in an increasingly competitive global environment. With
significant investment in local and global markets, this key function will be vital to the
continued future success of the business.
As a senior IS professional with vision and a proven track record, you possess a practical can
do attitude with the ability to develop, engage, lead and execute an appropriate strategic
blueprint for IS. A pragmatic and credible leader you have the capacity to review existing IS
infrastructure and process and from this make recommendations to achieve better utilisation
of technology to support the needs of the various businesses within the Group.
Operating in a diverse and challenging environment, you are able to balance the need for
significant improvement whilst recognising the investment the business has already made in
its current systems.
This role will be ideally suited to a hands-on individual with the ability to promptly assess and
understand current IS capability and identify deficiencies. Your real strength will lie in your
ability to then develop and implement efficient and effective technology based solutions. A
proven track record of achievement and delivery of strategically important and appropriate
solutions, ideally within a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded. Of equal
importance, are your strong communication, project management, change management and
problem solving skills.
