The weather forecast is available from http://www.bom.gov.au; Click on NT, All Northern Territory Forecasts, Alice Springs Forecast. There you will find that the Bureau of Meteorogly predicts the weather to continue raining throughout Central Australia until at least Wednesday evening. You may also see satellite images, rainfall predictions and current rainfall as well as 4 day forecast maps of Australia.

Currently roads that are closed:

- Tanami Track, approximately 60km from the turn off from the Stuart Highway
- Ernest Giles Road
- Larapinta Drive, approximately 2km after Flynn's Grave
- Namatjira Drive
- Mereenie Loop
- Luritja Road and Kings Canyon
- Maryvale Road
- Ross Highway, at and after Trephina Gorge

Roads to the North are not effected. The Palmer River is currently flowing over the Stuart Highway, but is still passable with a 2WD.

- Mereenie Loop
- Maryvale Road
- Santa Teresa Road, between the Airport Roundabout and Andado Station
- Ross Highway, at and after Trephina Gorge

Roads to the North are not effected. The Palmer River is currently flowing over the Stuart Highway, but is still passable with a 2WD.

- Luritja Drive (Kathleen Springs and Kings Canyon are open)
- Ross Highway (access to Emily and Jesse Gap only)
- Larapinta Drive (Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm and Hermannsburg only)

There is still water and sand over these roads, a few centimeters deep. They are accessable with a 2WD.

- Plenty Highway, from Gemtree to the QLD border
