175 visa timelines for Germans

Hello All!

We are planning to move to Brisbane as soon as we get our visa..we have applied for 175 MODL.
I am sorry but my German is not good hence writing in English, we live in Frankfurt and i am married to a German and have a 1 year old baby boy.

I have been using British expat forums since really long but recently read a thread that for Europeans besides British the time line is much longer.

I have been really excited and though we will get our visa within 5-7 months but apparently this is the average time line for British :o(

What have been your experience.....175 ers how long did it take to get your visa?
I am sure as you guys are planning to move to Australia, you speak English plus anyway i have noticed Germans always have good knowledge of English.(have lived in france n was a different story)

I am aware of the official time line but as you must have noticed that British people get their 175 in 5-7 months!!!
Have been browsing British site but now came to know that Europeans get is later so was just intrested in knowing the general timeline here.

Do you guys frontload the medicals and police checks or wait for CO to ask for it.

well there are people from germany waiting for well over a year some for 18 month with hase been a topic in this forum befor.
it also has been talked about the shorter waiting for british.
