Hello From Frankfurt from a non German speaker

Happy to find this site!
We are a couple with 1 year old son, we lived in Townsville 3 years back and traveled from Sydney to Cape Tribulation.....road trip plus backpacking.
Totally in love with beautiful Australia...and have started our 175 MODL IT network specialist in september08 and now waiting. I am Indian married to a German man :o)

We would love to move to Brisbane but because of a job if we have to move somewhere else in the starting it will be fine.
We plan to land in Sydney or Adelaid buy a camper van and travel for 2-3 months up to Brisbane.

Voila thats are long plans cut in short..would like to get in touch with other people who plan the same!

I reckon you should rather start your trip in Brisbane and rather travel up the Queensland coast, but that's just me being biased... We live in Gladstone.

Actually we travelled from Cape Tribulation till Brisbane in the wickedvan in 2005, one of the best trips i had! Beautiful scenery!! QLD cost is awesome!

I'm actually from Johannesburg South Africa (German Parentage), left in 1995, spent 3 years in Berlin, fled to the Middle East, and have been in Australia since 2001, love it here.

Hey actually i really like Germans they are very freindly and funny! I have lived in France, Netherlands, Thailand, India, Australia n now in Germany since last 10 yrs. Met my German in Bangkok ;o) another place full of Germans( but not sure if all of them r the right ones...but mine is for sure the bestest :o) )

South Africa....so i guess you are fluent in English n German! I wish my german was better so that i could brows n read the posts here.
Would have liked to meet fellow Germans around frankfurt area who r also immigrating.
Did u immigrate to Australia.....how did u enter? Gladstone.....what kind of work do u do?
We love QLD n would love to live there.......but Brisbane seems to be the only possibility. My OH is in IT. WE lived inTownsville n had so much fun!!

we applied for a 175 visa on 3rd May and now we are still waiting. We want to move to Brisbane, too.
Maybe we can meet each other one day because we actually live in Kassel. That is not so far from Frankfurt.

no, unfortunately we don´t have a CO yet. We sent the meds and pcc in October. So we cannot do something else.
