Sydney Stadtteil/unterkunft/Februar

    Hallo leute.
    suche mir ab februar unterkunft in sydney, aber kein hostel. möchte dort 4-6 wochen bleiben. welche stadtteil könnt ihr empfählen. soll nicht zu teuer sein und gute verbindung zu city. hab zwar ein auto, überlege mir aber eigentlich mit der u-bahn oder bus zu fahren und ab und zu zu beach zum surfen.
    ist bestimmt nicht einfach, aber vielleicht könnt ihr mir was schönes empfählen.

    P.S: unterkunft zu suchen habe ich bis jetzt versucht nur hier: flatmates.com.au
    gibts andere möglichkeiten auch?

    habe jetzt bei flatmates.com.au ein angebot erhalten, was für mich etwas merkwürdig ist.
    eine frau französischer staatsangehörigkeit schreibt mir, dass sie hier lebt und jemanden sucht um apartment zu teilen. sie beschreibt alles schön und gut und der preis ist auch nur 150$ pro woche. allerdings ist sie jetzt in england bei ihrem mann. dann schreibt sie, ich kann buchen für jede zeit und alles ist kein problem und bla bla bla. jetzt hat sie mir kopie von ihrem ausweis geschickt und möchte gern dass ich meine kopie auch schicke was mir allerdings jetzt komisch vor kommt.
    dann sagt sie noch ich soll ihr follgende saten geben: meine volle name, geschlecht, alter, anreisedatum und meine jetztige addresse. das braucht sie für ihren anwalt. ich kopiere am besten den original text.

    Also ich kenne die Platform flatmate nicht, aber die geforderten Daten musst du hier auch alle angeben, wenn du dir eine Wohnung nur für dich nimmst. Sprich, das alles ist auch für einen normalen Mietvertrag anzugeben. Inklusive der Vorlage deines Ausweises, von dem der Real Estate Agent dann eine Kopie macht. Zudem fordern die Real Estate Agents ein deposit ( bond) bevor du den Mietvertrag bekommst, damit ist die Wohnung dann fest für dich reserviert.

    Versetz sich mal in die Lage der Vermieterin. Es ist Ihr Eigentum und natürlich muss sie wissen, wem sie es überlässt. Selbst auf jedem normalen Campingplatz/ Hotel/ Motel musst du diese Daten angeben, bevor du den Zimmerschlüssel bekommst. Auch in Deutschland. Und falls Deine Vermieterin nach den Weihnachts- Sommerferien ebenfalls die Wohnung nutzen möchte, sie diese also wirklich mit dir teilt, dann denke ich ist der Wunsch zu wissen, wer du bist, noch verständlicher.

    Nicht was die nette Dame da alles verlangt, sondern eher WIE sie schreibt. Frag mal als erstes was du wie und wohin bezahlen sollst und wo dann der Schluessel abgeholt werden soll.

    Ich wette sie sagt Western Union. Dann ist es hundert pro Scam.

    Bevor sie dir nicht gesagt hat, was du wohin bezahlen sollst, wuerde ich sowieso gar keine Angaben von dir geben.

    genau das meine ich auch. das hört sich alles nach einem märchen an.
    die hat zwar vorher geschrieben, dass ich den schlüssel bei DHL stelle abholen kann, weil sie wahrscheinlich in england sein wird usw...

    darum bin ich da etwas vorsichtiger.
    was kann mir passieren, wenn meine daten in falsche hände geratten?

    die werde ich mal nach der bezahlung fragen. ;)

    kennst du denn niemanden, der sich die Wohnung mal vorher angucken kann und evt die Sache mit dem Schlüssel regelt?

    Ich würde ja generell immer erst mal persönlich gucken, ob mir die Wohnung zusagt und die Dinge vor Ort regeln. Ich hab allerdings auch schon zu viel australische Behausungen gesehen, die auf dem Foto und in der Beschreibung GAAAAANZ toll waren und vor Ort hab ich dann panisch den Rückwärtsgang eingelegt und bin in mein Auto geflüchtet, nicht ohne mich vorher zu vergewissern, das ich nicht 100te Kakerlaken und anderes Getier in meinem Kondenzstreifen habe.

    Und was mit deinen Daten passiert, wenn die in falsche Hände geraten? ...naja, mit einer Ausweiskopie kann man schon die eine oder andere Dummheit machen...zb eine identische Fälschung davon herstellen und mit deinen Bankdaten lässt sich sicher auch einiges anstellen. Andererseits wird all das halt auch abgefragt, wenn du über einen real estate agend mietest. Ob Du Spreu oder den Weizen bekommst, wirst du nur selber rausfinden...aber wenn du den Namen und die Adresse hast von der Frau und der Wohnung, dann kannst du ja mal im Telefonbuch checken, ob es die Adresse gibt ...und diese Frau auch....

    In welcher Gegend soll das denn sein? Vielleicht ist hier jemand in der Nähe und checkt das mal für dich vor Ort?

    Thanks for the mail i so much appreciate it,I would have love to show you round the rooms,but Right now i will like to inform you that i am not Australia.I am in Newzealand,I just left Australia some days ago.I took the picture of the rooms so that i can show it to anyone that is interested in securing the room before my arrival.you can choose any of the rooms

    However you can still move in while i am still away,all you need to do is make an advance payment and i can send the key directly to your door step via DHL 24hours service over there in Australia or i will send the reference code number i used to deposit the key in DHL office for you to pick up so if you really want to move in be able to have access to the room.The rooms looks exactly the way the are described in the pictures.

    Like i told you that the apartment is located at 23 Shelley Street,Sydney NSW 2000,I will like you to go there and see the place your self and the environment, i want you to get back to me, But it is a nice place and you will really enjoy your stay there

    I will like to know how you will want to proceeds with this.if you still want to secure the room or not.kindly back to me as soon as possible

    Finger weg. Es gibt mehr als genug Wohnungen/Wg's etc.

    Was mir noch einfaellt: Ich koennte wetten, wenn du deine Foto's von der Wohnung mal anguckst und dann mal 23 shelley street eingibst, wirst du die gleichen bilder noch mal finden auf domain.com.au oder myhome.com.au. Was dann wiederum merkwuerdig waere, denn wenn ein real estate agent mit dem Verkauf/Vermieten sowieso beauftragt worden ist, warum sucht sie dann ueber flatmate und schluessel kannst du dir bei DHL abholen.

    Auch noch merkwuerdig ist, sie will $150 dollar die Woche fuer ein Appartment (o.k. zum teilen, aber sie ist ja im Moment nicht da). Selbst die kleinste Bude zum mieten in 23 Shelley St. kriegst du nicht fuer unter $600/woche

    Alles nur Mutmassungen von mir, aber extreeeeem merkwuerdig liest sich das schon.

    Versuchsmal bei http://www.stayz.com.au.

    Wir hatten ein Appartment über http://www.sydneyshortstays.co.au im Hyde Park Plaza für 650Aus$/Woche gemietet. Haben die leider nicht mehr im Angebot. War von der Lage her Top. Alles gut mit dem Bus erreichbar. Und die Oxford Street mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Und auch noch mit Pool auf dem Dach (war uns aber zu kalt). Für 6Wochen wäre das aber wohl eh zu teuer oder?
