Why we think our car is BETTER then other?
* Its in a really good condition (see below why) and drives well. We can prove that!
* Its about 100cm bigger (thats what the MAXI stands for) then the usual vans out there (Mitsubishi Express, L300, etc.) and so this simply means MORE comfort for YOU and MORE space for your stuff.
* A big comfy bed (170cm wide), great storage ideas, camping gear and some extras to help you to survive out in the wildness.
The facts:

* Less then 210.000km driven so far
* WA Rego until 06/09 !! (Can be extended over Internet easily! We also have all paperwork here.)
* 5 gears (manual), runs on unleaded petrol
* less then 10 liters/100km per tank (62lt) - even WITH the A/C on! Thats economical!

Repairs & Maintenance:
* All services done, last service and inspection on 05.02.2009. Everything in very good condition (and yes, this includes chassis, gearbox and engine!).
* Some small rust spots but nothing to worry about. No rust on main chassis.
* New radiator, cooling, sparks and battery (Dez. 2008)
* Oil and oil filter changed (Feb. 2009)
* New brakes, fuel filter (Feb. 2009)
* Wheel alignment done (Feb. 2009).
* 2 new wheels (front)
* and the best: we can proof that! We have all service records.
How about living in it?
* Professionally converted interior made from extra strong wood.
* Bed (170cm wide) with lots of storage underneath (accessible from front AND back).

Conclusion?
We know that buying a suitable car for travelling around Australia is difficult. We shopped around for a while in Perth ourselves. Luckily we came across this car, even if not yet perfect for our taste. We added several things, especially in terms of storage and camping gear. We also did all services and all necessary repairs, because its not worth the hassle if you have a break down in the middle of nowhere. Right?
For camping and living in it, it is very comforable, practical, easy to use and it simply makes fun.
We think, this car is PERFECT for travelling around in your own speed and style. And: IT IS READY TO GO!
