TOURISTS will have the details of thousands of WA attractions at their fingertips from tomorrow as the Government gets tech savvy ahead of the Queen's visit.
Tourism Minister Kim Hames will launch the “Experience WA” app tomorrow ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and Royal visit.The free application will list 7000 thousand places to see, explore, eat, drink and stay in WA.
Visitors to WA will be able to use the application to conveniently find a restaurant or tourist attraction that is close by, view its details and also its location on a map.
The app can be downloaded from Apple’s app store or Tourism WA’s website and is available for use on the iPhone, iPad and any Android operating system. Dr Hames said there will be no simpler way to explore the state than through the new app, which would be updated regularly.
