We are looking for open minded, honest people interested in learning more about Australia's nature. There are a few minimum requirements as stated below.
•Minimum of two weeks, approx 4 days a week (more if you want), 8.30am to 2.30pm
•Duties include grounds work /landscaping, enclosure maintenance, some animal husbandry eg watering/feeding animals
•Morning Tea, Lunch and refreshments supplied each day of volunteering
•Free T-shirt depicting animals in the park.
•A chance to see and handle some of Australia's unique wildlife.
Transport is supplied.
All you pay is $160 each a week for accomodation and breakfast; lunch included on work days. Supply your own dinner.
You will be living on a 28 acre farm not far from Childers,QLD. This will suit and honest couple or friends travelling together. One room is available, double or twin depending on volunteers, own toilet, shared shower, kitchen and dining facilities.
You will be sharing with a young couple with a small toddler and many farm animals - dog, cows, chickens (fresh eggs), pigs and a cat.
