The burning wedding ring to remind husbands of anniversaries
The ring will create a burning sensation a day before the anniversary
Married couples need never forget their wedding anniversary again thanks to a ring which heats up to remind them. The makers say it could put an end to arguments over forgotten dates.
The wearer gets a burning sensation on their finger which begins the day before the important day. The Remember Ring is set to be launched next year in gold and silver and will sell for around £400.
The ring has been welcomed by the marriage guidance organisation Relate. Counsellor Mo Kurinbokus said: "Women often expect the man to come up with some surprise. If he hasn’t remembered then women sometimes ask 'is the relationship important enough to him?'. This ring could help to avoid all sorts of problems and rows."
Inventor Cleve Oines of the American-based Goldsmith Gallery said: "The idea is to remind people they started wearing this jewellery for an important reason."
