Yes, from a famous Australian's children's book called 'The Magic Pudding'. The Koala is tired of living in the small house in the tree with his uncle, so he decides to 'go and see the world'.

Wow, I just read about the movie (I never saw it) - it's really different from the book! The Magic Pudding was one of my favourite books when I was younger..

Ich habe den Film im letzten Jahr zufällig im Fernsehen gesehen und wusste gar nicht, dass es ein Buch gibt!

I didn't know about the book, just stumbled across the movie on TV by chance some day. It must have been during a business trip in a lonesome hotel room because I don't have a TV at home. The plot of the movie was a bit wierd but funny.
I'll try to get hold of the book, I'm curious now.
