Hallo,

dann werde ich mal meine Fragen auflisten.... Meine Frau, unser Sohn und ich sind alle fließend in Englisch. Ich bin Freiberuflicher Übersetzer (6+ Jahren), meine Frau Südafrikanerin.

Eine Freundin meiner Frau die in Perth lebt öffnet ihre Türen für uns, können also so lange dort bleiben wie wir möchten. Wäre es möglich für meine Frau nach Australien zu fliegen, auf job-suche zu gehen und das Besuchervisum vor Ort ändern zu lassen, im Fall das meine Frau einen Arbeitgeber finden würde?

Ich habe ein Business ETA visa, kann ich auch nach Australien, arbeit suchen und mein Visum vor Ort ändern lassen, im Fall das ich einen Arbeitgeber finden würde?

Sehen die Behörden es als gut an wenn man angeben kann das man vor Ort jemanden hat der uns ein Bett gibt und ein Dach über Kopf?

Wenn eine Firma einen sponsort, dann ist das nur zusammen mit einem Job möglich. Wo liegt also Dein Problem, damit habt Ihr doch mindestens einen Job, und auch ein Visum mit dem man in Australien arbeiten darf. Das ist doch genau das, was Du willst, oder?

Oder ist das mit dem Sponsoren doch nicht so ernst gemeint?

die Firma pendragon recruitment consultants hat ein Assessement für meine Frau gemacht.

Basiert auf Ihre Erfahrungen und Qualifikationen, haben Sie sie als Project Assistant/Administrator eingestuft. Damit wird die Firma bereit sein, meine Frau zu sponsoren.

Sie muss jedoch einen Arbeitgeber finden. Danach wird Pendragon informiert und die übernehmen alle Visum angelegenheiten für uns, bzw. den neuen Arbeitgeber...hier das Schreiben der Firma:

Dear Carmen,

We thank you for your inquiry and hope that the following information will assist you in making what could be for you a life changing decision.

At this point we can confirm that you do meet the basic criteria for sponsorship as a ‘Project or Program Administrator’, or dependant on role secured.

The following is a list of our terms and conditions you need to consider and fully understand:

• Minimum Salary Requirement: $58,500 per annum (including Super) or $78K (including Super) if you are employed in the IT industry (plus GST).

• Minimum Contract Length: 6 months with a basic earning of $37 per hour or $45 per hour if you are employed in the IT industry.

• Management Fee: Our standard fee is 7%, however if you are contracted into an industry or a company that attracts a higher Workers Compensation premium our fee will be adjusted accordingly (this adjustment rate will only be for the % amount set out by Workers Compensation and will be checked prior to us proceeding with your visa application).

• Set-Up or Exit Fee: There is NO set-up or exit fee. (Except if you leave our services within the first 6 months of your Visa approval then there will be an administration reimbursement fee of $550 inc GST)

• Government Payroll Tax: Payroll tax can sometimes be an issue as some companies include this in the negotiated rate. This needs to be clarified before a contract is accepted.

• Employment Through Agencies: If you are dealing with an employment agency it is best that you contact us to discuss the options open to you, as there are strict immigration rules, which must be adhered to with regards to Agencies.

• Advance Payments: We DO NOT loan money or Advance pays.

• Unpaid Leave: We cannot authorise any unpaid leave within the first 6 months of your employment with Pendragon.

Please note the following terms that may affect Your Visa and that we by law have to adhere to as your sponsor:

1. You cannot be out of work for more than 5 consecutive working days (in the event that this happens we could, by law be obliged to withdraw our sponsorship).

2. You must notify us if you are leaving the country for any reason, we also need to know the duration of time that you intend to be out of Australia.

3. You must notify us in advance of your intention to take a holiday. We will need to know the proposed departure date and duration of time and whether it is paid leave or not.

If you require further clarity on any of the above matters please do not hesitate to contact me, it’s important to us that you understand these issues and I am happy to explain them in further detail if you feel the need.

If you agree to the above terms and conditions and choose to proceed, I would like you to forward the following details so that I can process your application promptly:

1. Written confirmation of your position and negotiated rate (on a company letterhead).

2. A postal address so that we can send an Application pack to you (usually a work address). Please ensure that there will be someone available at these premises during business hours to provide a signed receipt of delivery. The standard processing time is usually between 2 to 14 days (after we receive your completed Application).

We look forward to the opportunity of assisting you with sponsorship, and hope that this is the beginning of a mutually rewarding relationship.

Der will Euer Geld, der will Euch nicht sponsoren!!!!!
Nach meiner Meinung nach, sogar auf eine Unverschämte Art.

Ein Sponsor ist jemand, der Euch Arbeit gibt. Dies ist eine Firma, die für Euch alle Visa-Angelegenheiten für viel Geld erledigt. Und für irgendwelche Vermittlungen wollen die auch noch Geld: "Our standard fee is 7%"

Das eine hat mit dem anderen nichts zu tun!

Wenn Ihr einen Sponsor habt, braucht ihr diese Firma für gar nichts.

Hi,

heute habe ich zwei emails von immigrationsagenten erhalten. Beide sagen das die Firma für uns überflüssig ist.

Wie sieht es mit Study Visa aus? Ich bin ja seit 6 Jahren freiberuflicher Übersetzer. Wollte mich durch NAATI akkreditieren lassen. Das geht in Frankreich. Dachte mir aber das ich eher als Student nach DU gehe um dort an einem Kurs teilzunehmen. Da kämen wir dann noch schneller rein oder?

Mit einem Studenten- oder Touristenvisum darfts Du nicht arbeiten.
Und etwas wie ein "wandeln" des Visums von einem Typ zum anderen gibt es nicht. D.h. Du musst die ganzen Prozeduren trotzdem durchlaufen, um ein permanentes Visum zu bekommen. Die Verfahren für die unterschiedlichen Visa sind leicht unterschiedlich, aber ähnlich aufwändig.

danke für dein Input.

Mit einem Student Visa ist es erlaubt zu arbeiten. 20 Stunden die Woche. Das muss beantragt werden wenn man vor Ort ist.

Mit meinem Business Visa darf ich übrigens auch nach Arbeit suchen während ich in Australien bin. Sollte ich einen Arbeitgeber finden, kann ich sogar vor Ort ein Visum beantragen das mir gestattet zu arbeiten.

Die Info habe ich vor kurzem erhalten. Meine Frau rief heute früh die Behörden in Australien an.

das mit den 20 Stunden wusste ich nicht, Danke für den Hinweis. Ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, dass du damit eine Familie über Wasser halten kannst.

Suchen nach Arbeit darfst Du mit jedem Visum, nur eben dann die Arbeit ausführen nicht.

Deiner Bemerkung: "vor Ort ein Visum beantragen das mir gestattet zu arbeiten" entnehme ich, dass Du dir das so vorstellst, dass es ein paar Tage geht. Natürlich kannst Du das, aber die Prozeduren sind gleich kompliztiert und gleich langwierig. Auch mit dieser Art Visum musst du Dich auf eine Bearbeitungszeit von mehreren Monaten einstellen.

Die niedrigsten Zeiten sind 5 Monate. Falls einer von Euch keinen deutschen sondern einen südafrikanischen Pass hat, dann ist das eines der "high-risk"-Länder, d.h. die kürzeste Bearbeitungszeit des gesponsorten Visums ist 7 Monate.
