61: Huge roar as Archie Thompson comes on for Brett Holman. Forlan impedes Lucas Neill as he's played through.
58: Bit of a scrappy start to the second stanza. Recoba shot easily dealt with by Jones.
53 Ryan Griffiths on for Mile Sterjovski. Huge roar for Mile who's been arguably our best player. Griffiths immediately on in the same position as Mile.
48: Wilksire on the burst but ball through finds McDonald level but flagged as offside
47: Free to Australia wide but Uruguay deal with the cross from Culina.
45: Teams are back. Giacomozzi is on for Diego Perez. No changes for Roos.
Half time analysis:
Aussies have dominated the first half and looked composed on the ball. Sterjovski has been a star and looked dangerous every time but so has Recoba for Uruguay. It's been an exciting contest so far.

40: Another superb free kick from Recoba and the resulting header in six yard box has Jones making a brilliant save. Uruguay with their tails up.
38: GOAL URUGUAY 1-1. Brilliant free from Recoba gets behind Socceroo defence and the low cross finds Forlan who tucks it home
35; Uruguay almost score. Recoba brilliant free kick and Lugano's header just inches wide. Recoba is dangerous every time he gets the ball but Socceroos dominating.
31: Free kick taken by Neill to Sterjovski, cross causes problems but cleared to Culina but Neil takes over finds Sterjovski and Aussies win throw.
28: Recoba tries a 40 yd shot goes over bar. Uruguay looks frustrated
26: Scotti off due to hamstring on is Fucile for Uruguay. Fucile goes to left back.
24: Diogo yellow on Sterjovski for tackle from behind. Free kick played back and wide but long ball forward from Kisnorbo fails to reach McDonald.
21: Great chance for Socceroos but Holman dispossesed on edge of box before shooting.
20 Uruguay hit the bar with a header but it's offside. Recoba brilliant in the lead up play. Their first chance. Recoba is starting to impose himself.
18: Neill long diagonal ball to Sterjovski but his cross fails to find a Socceroo. Clearly they've targeted Diogo. Recoba ball thoruhg fails to reach Sanchez
16: Foul on Valeri in centre circle. Culina wide to Sterjovksi and his cross almost catches out Carini
13: Neill dink over the defence but Mcdonald offside. It's getting feisty with Valeri clattering a blue shirt and Recoba's giving the ref an earful. Socceroos dominating play. Jones barely touched the ball.
10: Sterjovski having a blinder, takes on Diogo but his cross is blocked but it's a goal kick. Aussies with Mile and Wilkshire wide are supporting lone striker Scott McDonald
8: Thwaite yellow for crunching tackle on Pablo Garcia inside Blue half. Bit of pushing and shoving
6: GOAL GOAL GOAL TO SOCCEROOS. MILE STERJOVSKI.
Cross from Wilkshire and Uruguay defence couldn't deal with it and Sterjovski with a second bite of the cherry smashes home from six yard box.
3: Both sides feeling each other out. Foul on Valeri inside Uruguay half. Kisnorbo got on the end of it but his shot goes well over
