I currently have an opportunity for a Database Administrator to join the IT and Engineering departments at an established business in the travel industry. Working in an agile DevOps environment, designing & supporting an ecommerce database infrastructure this role will be the perfect place to showcase your DBA talents.

Key elements to this role include:

• Develop well-written, efficient SQL solutions
• Be a part of our IT and Engineering teams to assist and develop more efficient DB schemas
• Build and support critical applications using SQL
• Provide input into architecture and design
• Provide BI Analysis and Reporting insights
• Troubleshoot and resolving issues.

Key skills required for this includes:

- Strong working knowledge of liquibase
- Superior DBA knowledge and experience
- Report writing knowledge and experience
- Business Intelligence skills and experience
- Exceptional understanding of database structures and theories
- Experience to support the maintenance and enhancement of existing MySQL server databases in development testing and production environment
- Database Security hardening.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Strong communication & documentation skills
- Experience managing databases in Amazon's AWS RDS.
